In the Workshop

Exploring automations with Macs running AI Agents. Each issue becomes a chapter of a free online book.

What You’ll Get

  • A new chapter every week, sent to your inbox the day it's drafted.

  • Downloadable assets that go with each chapter

  • The real backstage view of running an AI agent on the Mac: what works, what breaks, what I'd do differently

  • Early access to the finished book bundle (PDF + EPUB + web reader) when it launches.

Who I am

I'm Matt Ronge, founder of Astropad and the creator of Workbench, a remote desktop tool for Macs that work 24/7. I've been running my own headless Mac mini as an always-on AI agent host. This book is everything I've figured out.

Examples

Here are a few examples of the kind of content I send:

  • The Ultimate Guide to Running a Headless Mac mini for AI agents

  • What you need to set up a Mac as an AI Agent

  • Your first AI agent workflow: a personalized morning brief

FAQ

  • When does the book come out? A first complete draft by end of summer, with chapters dropping along the way.

  • Is it really free? Yes. PDF, EPUB, and web reader, all free. Email gets you the chapters early and the assets that go with them.

  • What's the connection to Workbench? I built Workbench because I needed it for this setup. The book covers a lot of paths, including the DIY ones. Workbench is one option in one chapter, not the whole point.
